50 States Postage Stamps
For this project we were tasked to choose a topic that we would then use to create a collection of postage stamps each one representing one of the fifty states in the US. Marathons was my topic of choice in doing so I researched the fifty most popular marathons in each state and used those as my refrences for the course outlines. Strava an app where you can log running activities was another inspiration when finalizing the look of my stamps. The purpose of this project is to help me discover and refine my design voice and iterative skills to be coceptualized as a way to prepare myself for future projects. In addition my hope is to bring together runners alike through my marathon stamp designs.
